Community health extension worker (CHEW) Deborah Adjei measures the mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) of 7-month-old Abena Boadiwaah on a home visit in Takorasi, Bonsaaso Millennium Village. The MUAC measurement is an potential indicator of malnutrition. One of the responsibilities of the 28 community-based CHEWs in Bonsaaso is to monitor the health of the under-fives.
